Y’all, brace yourselves for one of my favorite weddings of all-time. Reagan and Mason got married at Prospect House on a chilly October day. Reagan’s mom is a killer florist (and one of my best industry friends), so of COURSE this wedding was a showstopper! My friggin’ amazing friend Brittany Gilbert Photography took all of these gorgeous photos.

Reagan works with her mom, Katie, at Merveille Events. I’ve had the pure honor & joy to be friends with these wonderful ladies for several years now. So, when Reagan got engaged to her boo Mason, I was ecstatic. For them, of course (I mean they’re high school sweethearts and they’re full-blown adorbs), but alsoooooo for this wedding, because I knew it was going to be epic. And it was!

Let’s start from the beginning, and obviously one of my favorite things — INVITATIONS! Reagan and Mason gave me a lot of creative freedom here. I thought it would be amazing to bring in a sick color palette and letterpress printing, and I’m so, so, so glad everyone was on board! I worked with my dear friend Ashley with Shop Inviting, and we came up with this killer palette of off-white, cream, and mustard yellow for the insert cards. These were paired with a mauve response envelope (which matched the save the dates) and a burgundy outer envelope with gold calligraphy.

I did a fun, very simplified map of the Austin area with directions, since their venue was about 30 minutes west. I also designed a custom return address stamp w/ calligraphy to match the suite, which we used for the return address as well as the RSVP envelope. The whole suite was tied together with tan silk ribbon and a simple, delicate piece of pampas grass on top! *drool*

Onward. The big day arrived, and it was windy, y’all. A cold front had blown in the day before, so it was pretty darn chilly, and the winds were still blowing hard. This didn’t stop our team from killin’ it and setting up the most perfect space ever! There were hundreds and hundreds of the most beautiful blooms all over the venue — in two separate floral walls (complete with amazing neon signs), tons of romantic string lights hanging down, lots of candlelight, and plenty other sweet details.

Also, y’all know that picture-perfect white square frame at Prospect House? Well, because Katie is a creative genius, she turned that whole mamajama copper! I couldn’t believe my eyeballs when I walked in for set up the morning of! Like WHOA. That paired with hundreds and hundreds of blooms and candles, it was so whimsical and amazing!

As a guest, I was so thankful I was able to wear my peacoat during the ceremony! Poor Reagan on the other hand, in her utterly fabulous and jaw-dropping Hayley Paige gown, was shivering for the first look, photos, and the entire sunset ceremony. But it’s okay because it was toooootally worth it. She looked seriously amazing. So amazing that I almost cried. (And I probably did, let’s be real.) That HAIR. And that MAKEUP. (Which was all done by Stephanie Goldsmith.)

Such a perfect, sweet, lovely, beautiful day!

Here are some of the day-of signage pieces I did: a large gold mirror welcome sign (available to rent thru Merveille!); blush table numbers; menu cards for each table; acrylic place cards for every guest; and a painted, multi-piece hanging seating chart.

Have I mentioned that dinner was a long series of charcuterie boards that spanned all 23 tables?! BECAUSE IT WAS. And it was SERIOUSLY AMAZING. Grazeology absolutely killed it. So much delicious cheese, meat, bread, fruit, and all the rest of the “fixins”. I mean, it was literally so good that I straight up stole a handful of leftovers as they were bussing the tables, wrapped them up in one of the napkins, took it home with me, and ate it for dinner the next night.

(Not kidding. Brittany Gilbert even caught me red-handed and snapped this pic as evidence.)

Now, let’s get real for a minute. If you couldn’t tell by now, I. LOVE. WEDDINGS. So, anytime I’m an actual guest at a wedding, I get downright giddy. I love getting dressed up, wearing heels, and dancing the night away with a glass of champs in my hand. And that’s what I got to do! And it was so much fun!

I also have a brief, very short-lived history of being a wedding videographer, so I made this lil highlight video, shot completely on my iPhone!

The moral of the story here is that you should invite me to your wedding, because I WILL dress up, I WILL take it upon myself to chit-chat with the band to make sure they know all of their key songs and cues, I WILL drink at least 3 glasses of champagne (but probably more), I WILL completely live on the dance floor (maybe even in my socks who knows), I WILL give you an amateur wedding video, and we WILL have lots of fun.

Anywho, congratulations to my dear friends, Reagan and Mason Boitnott! Thanks for letting me be a part of your glorious day. :)
